IMMA House is our vision for a membership-based motherhood sanctuary supporting women from pregnancy through postpartum and early motherhood.
Planned initially for Crown Heights, Brooklyn, IMMA House is being designed as a physical place where mothers can find something that's increasingly difficult to find: a village.
One welcoming environment bringing together:
Modern mothers are often expected to navigate pregnancy, birth, physical recovery, infant feeding, mental health, relationships, and major identity changes while moving between fragmented support systems.
Resources exist, but they're often disconnected. And much of the attention naturally shifts toward the baby.
IMMA House brings the mother back into the center of the conversation.
The vision is to create a place where women can build meaningful relationships with mothers in similar seasons, connect with trusted experts, learn, rest, receive support, and simply exist somewhere that understands what motherhood asks of them.
Not only when things have reached a breaking point.
Before the crisis. Before the isolation becomes unbearable. Before asking for help feels impossible.
